AQUATIC PLANT

Aquatic plant  plays an important role in converting wastes into essential elements in an aquarium. Fish, crustaceans and other aquatic animals are often vulnerable when exposure to high concentration of substances like nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, phosphate and heavy metals. Aquatic plants are able to lower the concentration of toxicity, providing a habitat for bacteria to decompose wastes and also balance the pH value by decreasing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the environment. Nevertheless, aquatic plants can also be use as an ornamental decoration of your aquarium tank.
